2022w31 A Status Brief:
Bigger Responsibilities, More Expectations

It's still very nice summer, I hope you are enjoying it! I want to greet you a really happy time, with a brief status sharing regarding the ongoing registration campaign.

It has been weeks since we have announced the autumn term registration opening, the status looks good, everything goes very smoothly as we planned. There seems not very big crowding or rushing, many interesting parents are actually in early contact with us, so now more communications as to confirm the decisions. The new term will start on 20 Aug, then we will shift the focus to supporting teaching activities, while will still keep the open opportunity for irregular applications or students transferring.

GKK is coming to a size of 110-120 registered students in all, which sounds exciting, I think it's speaking for a positive reputation and strong trust by the community fellows! Meanwhile, it means bigger responsibilities for us all to support the operations, and keep quality delivery. Challenges and difficulties are ahead indeed, yet, I'm feeling calm, since I see good hopes and possibilities from many talks with very active and talented people around, the community looks much stronger when involving more and more contributors from every corner, the atmosphere feels right.

The growth also means more expectations from different perspectives, we will figure out the way as we go with a responsible and serious attitude. As far as I see, more and more attentions and supports are definitely needed for those areas like teaching & learning quality, the teachers' team development, and the collaborative community building. There are several details that we can do better or try out some new ideas, in order to get the best from our capacities and performances, it'll continue to be a fun journey together! We will see!

希望大家还在享受非常美的夏天时光，我想给大家带来暑假的问候！同时简要分享一下正在进行的招生的情况。

秋季招生的广告通知发出去已经两个星期了，状况看起来很不错，各项事情按计划进行得有条不紊，很顺利。其实，很多有意向的家长比较早就跟我们取得联系，这次更多人是沟通和落实报名决定。新学期将会在8月20号开始，之后我们就会把重心转向支持日常教学活动，但会继续保持接受不规律的插班生申请。

华文学院总体学生正在达到110至120人的规模，这很让人兴奋，我觉得它代表了我们在华人社区里良好的声誉和信任！与此同时，这也意味着我们更大的责任一起来支持华文学院的运作和保持高质量产出。前头的困难和挑战的确存在，但我感觉很淡定，因为我保持跟周边许多很积极和有才能的人联系，我看到了很好的希望和可能性，当华文学院社区迎来越来越多来自各个领域的奉献者时，显得更加强大，感觉就是对的氛围。

这个增长同时也意味着从各个角度会有更多的期望，我们会用负责的和认真的态度慢慢找到答案。目前，我觉得在保证教与学的质量，教师团队的建设，以及协作的社区建设，这几个领域绝对会越来越受到关注和支持。有一些细节我们还可以做得更好，或者尝试新的主意，从而在我们的能耐中达到最好的成效。这会继续是一个很有趣的旅程，让我们一起期待！
