About Us

GKK is jointly set by GACSS (Gothenburg Association of Chinese Students and Scholarship) and GACCY (Gothenburg Association of Chinese Children and Youth), which are independent associations.

GKK was formally started from November, 2018. it is a non-profit organization, striving to build a  best-choice Chinese cultural education community in Västra Götaland region. 

We wish we will serve all Chinese culture lovers, Chinese fans, Chinese background people, and your children, especially in Västra Götaland region. However, we currently focus mainly on the children, hopefully we will expand our footprints further in the future.

Our teaching & learning activities happen mostly at weekends, the teachers and students are basically as part-time/spare-time mode apart from their main track of formal work and life in Sweden.

Since started in 2018, we have been gaining good reputations on our accountable and remarkable results, we are continuously taking care of every detail that matters to our students, creating a model of Chinese education in Sweden, with the spirit of craftsmanship!

华文学院为GACSS (Gothenburg Association of Chinese Students and Scholarship)和GACCY (Gothenburg Association of Chinese Children and Youth) 合作办的一个学习群体，二个独立单独的协会，课程是相互有连续性和相互补充。

学院于2018年11月份正式成立，是非盈利组织，致力于打造Västra Götaland地区最佳的中国文化教育选择。

我们期望的服务人群包括中国文化爱好者，热衷者，中国背景的人，以及你们的孩子们，尤其是Västra Götaland地区的。目前我们主要集中于小朋友，有望将来会逐步扩充照顾更多大小朋友。

我们通常在周末开展教学或教研交流活动，因此，老师和学生们实质上是在业余模式参与华文学院事业的，他们通常保留在瑞典正常的主要的工作和生活内容。

自2018年成立以来，我们的用心负责和教学成果，有口皆碑，我们一如既往地勤勤恳恳对待每一项工作，认认真真对待每一位学生！以工匠精神打造瑞典华文教育的典范！

Our mission is to build an ideal platform for promoting inter-cultural dialogs and communications, to share Chinese culture by enabling communications and cooperation in all levels. We elaborately create a good learning environment with rich resources for the children, and strive to well support them growing up to be confident, competent and responsible people.

GKK is expected to be the learning community for us to study Chinese mother tongue, and as an emotional connection hub. We will look far at the whole Chinese community in the world, take our local advantages, and continuously strengthen our great teachers team, build various groups on interesting subjects, so to provide professional and distinctive services for those overseas Chinese and their new generations.

我们的学院是华人华侨及其子女们学习民族母语的乐园，是海外游子血浓于水的感情寄托。我们将放眼世界华人群体，发挥自身的优势，并不断加强师资团队和对各学科各兴趣学习组的建设，为更多的华人华侨及其新一代提供丰富多彩的专业特色服务！

Our educational philosophy teaching methods originates from the deep understanding of Swedish education system, and the mental and cognitive ability of the students with Chinese-Swedish background.

Our teaching activities are distinctive, flexible and of educational entertainment. We inspire the children's desire for Chinese learning, by combining educating language and arts. We build the emotional connection between the new generation children and our home country, by motivating their loving the Chinese culture.

We respect every child's nature, and arrange courses matching their characteristics and family background. We use flexible teaching materials that fit well the overseas children. We keep doing fine-sorting, for small size of classes. Our courses are designed as fun, creative, exploratory and practical.

Our well designed methodology is proved working highly effectively, and very well recognized by our students and their parents.

我们的教育理念和教学思路来源于对瑞典教育系统的深入研究，以及对在瑞华裔学生的心理和认知能力的了解和重视。

我们的教育活动特色鲜明、灵活多样、寓教于乐。用语言教学与艺术熏陶相互结合的方式，唤醒旅居瑞典的中华子女们对母语的渴求；通过激发孩子们对中华文明追求的热情，来维系侨胞新一代与祖国家乡的感情纽带。

Proudly we have a great team, with many high level educated and skillful teachers, we humbly appreciate and respect our talented people here! We work with fun and reach achievements as a team! We actively have regular retrospective meetings to learn from each other, and discuss for improvements.

This is a small Steering & Supporting Team, also known as Management Team. It takes care of GKK's teachers team development, teaching affairs management, daily operations and coordination.

There is an active role as Principle in this team acting as main interface and contact person / spokesperson. But there is very little hierarchy here, because we want to build GKK in an open and sharing culture, everyone enjoys the ownership and influence our GKK community!

In practice, the team is running with many proactive volunteering helpers from the teachers and parents community, those contributors are essentially as important part of this team, their solid guiding/supporting work counts, and of great meaning to GKK.

This team has been spending a lot of extra efforts silently behind, especially during the schooling seasons, activities preparations and risks/crisis handling. They are playing humbly in the background without much being seen. They deserve great appreciation!

我们有一支指导和支持小组，或称管理小组，负责华文学院里的师资队伍建设，教务安排，日常运作和协调。

我们设置一个校长职务，作为管理小组主要的接口人，同时作为对外的联系人或发言人。实践中，管理小组和家长志愿者们共同建设华文学院学习社区，因为我们希望激发每一个热心人士共同建设和影响我们的华文学院社区，我们坚持开发和共享的文化氛围。

实际运作中，管理小组通常与许多积极的志愿者们一同工作，他们来自老师和家长圈，这些有才能的贡献者实质上属于管理小组的重要的部分，他们协助的指引和支持不仅算入管理小组范畴，而且对于华文学院富有意义。

这个小组平时一直花费大量的额外时间默默奉献，特别是招生季，活动准备，以及风险和问题处理，他们为人谦虚，背后的努力我们一般不大看得到，非常值得称赞！
